Going Deeper 06.07.2021

An excerpt from yesterday's message...

Make no mistake about it… both Satan and Jesus understood a vital and powerful truth, and that truth is that to divide is to conquer.  Sin, when its very root is understood as being centered on self, divides and conquers.  Kingdoms, nations, businesses, households, and the Church—from the one catholic or universal Church to individual congregations—will not long endure when conflict is allowed to divide and polarize.

That said, this morning I would like to encourage us to ponder the other side of that coin: what is possible when a house is unified?  What becomes feasible when we seek to recapture the oneness we were created to live within?  When we realign ourselves with the Creator and one another in the “Divine Dance”—which involves a process of transformation leading to being increasingly outwardly focused—very important and very special things take place.  It is very important for us to understand and trust that to be true.

Here at Zion, I’m convinced that the remainder of the year of our Lord 2021 will be one of the most important stretches of time in the 107-year history of this family in Christ.  We have the opportunity to come together and as one be used by God to substantially strengthen and extend the Kingdom of God.  The pieces are there to be put in place for things to really get rolling.
